After explaining the issues surrounding dropshipping and crafts, I'm going to explain something essential if you want to support creators:
How to recognize a dropshipped product?
I'm going to post you a short that explains the thing very well. It's not illegal in itself but morally very questionable.
In order to avoid being fooled, it is very easy to recognize them with just a few applications:
1°) Google Lens a very practical application that analyzes photos
2°) https://aliexpress.com/ in the search tab, insert a photo and it will find similar models for you
3°) Promotions all year round like 1+1 free, -70%,... this is not possible in crafts. The maximum tolerable is -30% on certain references.
4°) https://tineye.com/ a very precise website on the use of an image, particularly for product photos.
5°) Ask for exclusive content to be sure. We have our own stocks, we produce everything ourselves and we can make custom orders on request : )
6°) Very beautiful packaging for products that are on sale very frequently or "inexpensive". Packaging can represent between 30% and 300% of the cost price... Luxurious, ultra-personalized packaging with a whole series of accessories costs a lot, a lot, a lot, even if imported. If you get such packaging but the product you buy is "prestigious" but on sale, ask yourself the right questions. Rebranded products offer this kind of "service" in addition, you pay for the packaging for a mass-produced product for a purchase price of the desired product 3 to 20x more expensive than on AliExpress which offers exactly the same item. This recently caused a scandal in France with the phenomenon of influvoleurs .
On this, trust the local artisans, do not hesitate to discuss with them because passion drives us and we always want to surpass ourselves and improve our creations because do not forget, you are part of our success.
