PRICE

Prices are indicated in CFA/XOF or in the currency according to your geolocation. The Value Added Tax (VAT) is that in force in Senegal on crafts on the day of the order. Any change in the applicable rate may be reflected in the prices of the Products and services. The prices applied are those appearing on the Site at the time of the order. After this date, they are subject to change at any time. Abarings cannot be bound by the display of an erroneous and manifestly derisory price, whatever the reason (computer bug, manual error, technical error). In this case, Abarings will inform the Customer as soon as possible and the order will be cancelled. In the event of delivery to the Customer's home - to the address indicated by the Customer - the fixed amount of participation in the costs will be communicated to the Customer on the order summary form, before final validation of the latter. Abarings may reserve the right to offer promotional codes. These promotional codes can only be generated by Abarings and will not be applicable to the price of Products subject to other promotions (sales, batch sales, sales with bonuses, price reductions, etc.). Abarings cannot be held responsible for any promotional codes disclosed on the forums other than those originating from Abarings and for which it has not given its agreement.

Currently, for security and convenience reasons, we have decided to opt for payments other than Paypal. The available payments are:

The currencies accepted will be your currencies used and converted to our currency via payment. Your comfort, satisfaction and payment will be our rewards.

Changing and Cancelling the Order: If you wish to cancel the order, please contact us as soon as possible, but we hope you understand that our order processing system is designed to process and ship orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. This means that even if you contact us immediately after changing your mind about your order, it is possible that it is already put into production or in the shipping process. In this case, we cannot change or cancel an order once it has been sent.

Note: For orders that have been put into production or shipped, please review the Return Policy.

Gift cards are non-refundable. You can use them partially.

 

DELIVERY & RETURNS

We strive to get your order to you as soon as possible. In-stock items are usually processed and shipped within 4-7 business days. This includes the time spent on product processing and packaging.

Custom orders require a slightly longer process due to the customization work required: the processing time will be agreed with the customer and validated via their payment (deposit of 100% of the order amount).

Shipments are made exclusively by registered parcel with signature and presentation of your identity document for collection. The service includes a receipt acknowledgment. It is therefore impossible to collect your order other than on the basis of a presentation of your identity document to the postal agent or his representative. De facto, we will ask you for your postal details with your name + first name so that everything goes perfectly.

Once the order is sent with registered shipping, it will take approximately 3 to 5 business weeks for the order to arrive after the deposit made with the service provider that makes the shipment from Senegal. During the process, you will receive your tracking number by email or WhatsApp to track the order online: you must follow up with your tracking number and contact your postal office to arrange the collection of your order in case the notice of passage is slow to reach your hands. Actual delivery times may vary depending on the shipping method you choose, your delivery address and your local postal service. Do not hesitate to get back to us, if we can help you, we will do so with pleasure but you must take into consideration that once your package is outside Senegal, your post office must do the necessary.

In case of loss or disappearance of the package, you must take the necessary action with your postal agency. If you are unable to collect your package in time and it is returned to us, you will have to wait for it to reach us and pay the shipping costs again.

The Abarings that we offer to customers are 100% handmade, which simply means that despite our high level of finishing, you may change your mind for one reason or another. In the event of a return request, there are several scenarios:

1) The product received does not meet our standards upon receipt: broken or damaged jewelry, unfixed mineral, etc. Return the package to us at our expense. Once your order has been received and in our offices, if it turns out that the Abarings did not meet our standards, we will return your order to you at our expense. It should be noted that our standards are very high when creating Abarings, we can therefore easily dissociate a design problem from damage due to abnormal use.

2) The product received is in accordance with our standards upon receipt but you have changed your mind and want either a refund or an exchange. Return the package to us at your expense. Once your order is received in our offices, we will proceed:

either to a standard refund (various refund costs will be your responsibility) and if there was a free shipment due to the amount of your order, this must be refunded in full

or to an exchange of items of identical, higher or lower values. In the event that the amount is higher or lower, you will have to pay the difference upwards or we will partially refund your order. The shipping costs will be at your expense and added to the final invoice.

3) You demand a refund after receiving your Abarings without justification (which is your right): return the package to us at your expense but if the jewelry received in our premises does not comply with our standards because it is broken or damaged, nor with normal use: you will not be entitled to any refund and we will return your Abarings to you at your expense.

Please note that we are a company based in Senegal, so our commercial policy is not impacted by the European right of withdrawal. However, we offer a right of withdrawal of 3 days after receipt of your Abarings.

Personalized items are not refundable as they cannot be sold afterwards. We will provide you with all this information via messages or emails when you decide to place a personalized order. The deposit will also not be refunded.

 

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

For cleaning, we have several solutions to offer you depending on the metals we use for the Abarings. Our metals are precious and therefore living metals, namely real bronze and silver. Your Abarings will live and must be maintained.

Bronze : In case of advanced oxidation, in order to clean the jewelry impeccably, we use Copper Mirror which will slow down the oxidation of the jewelry while making it shiny.

Silver : In case of advanced oxidation , in order to clean the jewelry impeccably, we use Miror la Crème D'Argentil which will slow down the oxidation of the jewelry while making it shiny.

Bronze and Silver : Abarings provides you with a microfiber cloth and an eraser for cleaning your jewelry for each order. The metals used are of superior quality, so your Abarings will accompany you for a very long time.

The eraser will simply clean the jewelry of bodily acidity, biological deposits or pollution.

You can also use toothpaste on your Abarings. Moisten the jewelry, brush gently with a toothbrush on which you have applied a little toothpaste. Make the solution foam and leave it to act for 30 minutes. Rinse with clear, lukewarm water and rub gently with a microfiber cloth.

Notes: DO NOT EXPOSE JEWELRY TO CHEMICALS! Exposing them to harsh chemicals can change the appearance of your Abarings. These chemicals include, but are not limited to, bleach, sea water, paint strippers,... Feel free to use the products listed above to give a second life to your Abarings.

 

CHANGES

abarings.com reserves the right to modify this Website, rules and regulations governing its use, at any time. Changes will be posted on the Website, and users are deemed to be aware of and bound by any changes on the Website. Abarings.com may make changes in the products and/or services described in this Website at any time.

 

STATEMENT

If the bronze or silver products are damaged or corroded due to collisions or friction, or wearing the jewelry while swimming or showering, etc., we are not responsible for the losses. And the above-mentioned damages will not be covered by the warranty.

If the packages are lost due to the wrong shipping address provided by customers, we will not be responsible for the losses. In this case, no refund request will be processed.

In the event of theft of your package or if you report a loss of it and we receive a signature for the collection of your package as a receipt, since our shipments are sent by registered mail, we will ask you to file a complaint with your police station for forgery and use of forged documents as well as a complaint for identity theft. We will examine the study of a replacement package return on a case-by-case basis.

 

GUARANTEE

Abarings offers a 1-year warranty on its creations from the date of receipt of the package. The warranty covers normal use of the jewelry in the event of a manufacturing problem: hidden defect. All requests relating to the warranty must be addressed to info@abarings.com.

As part of the application of a legal guarantee, the return costs will be at the expense of the Customer, and will only be reimbursed if Abarings' liability is incurred under the guarantee.
